The UK High Altitude Society is to hold its first annual conference at The Hub, Islington on Saturday 15th October 2011. UKHAS is dedicated to the launch of high-altitude balloons to near-space altitudes. The itinerary covers a variety of subjects and also includes an open discussion session on formalising the organisation of UKHAS along similar lines to UKRA.
