UKSEDS hosts a wide range of events and competitions throughout the year, promoting the space sector to the next generation of students looking to work in the sector. However, as a non-profit charity we have limited financial resources, so we are keen to work with venues which can host our events at a reduced rate, or free of charge. If you have a venue that you think would be suitable for us, please get in touch with our Executive Committee directly at [email protected].

If you are interested in either sponsoring or partnering with us on a planned future event, or instead have a proposal for an event you’d like to collaborate with us on, we would love to hear from you as well. Please fill in the form below to leave your contact details with us and we’ll be in touch as soon as we can.

Host Evaluation Criteria

Applications will be evaluated on key criteria including:

  • Location both nationally, and within the host city
  • Transport links: international airport, easy access to public transports etc.
  • Compliance with specific event requirements
  • Quality of the proposed venue
  • Branch’s track record of involvement and motivation
World Space Week

World Space Week is an international celebration of space held every year from the 4th to 10th October. Any space event held in this period can be registered as an official World Space Week event, including any freshers or introductory events.
