Preference will be given to those attending both days of the conference, and can bring the most people for the least amount of money, so we recommend coaches, minibuses, train deals or full cars since they are a much more efficient use of fuel. Aside from this criteria, bursaries will be given on a first come, first served basis – so don’t wait until the very last minute to submit your application! The funds allocated towards the Travel Bursary are £8,000, courtesy of the UK Space Agency. 

 

We also advise trying to work together with other UKSEDS Branches (see hub.ukseds.org/p/branches for a full list), and asking your Students’ Union or university department for additional funding.

 

All branch members making use of the Travel Bursary must be registered UKSEDS Members (they can join for free: ukseds.org/join) and have previously bought a NSSC ticket.
