This year’s competition day is kindly hosted at Midlands Rocketry Club. The launch day will be the 11th of June 2025. In the event of poor weather, we have a backup day booked for the 18th of June 2025. The NRC organising team will aim to give a minimum of 2 working days notice to all attendees if we are forced to swap to the backup day.
Whilst MRC will be hosting our competition day, outside of this time the venue is a commercial farm that is completely unrelated to this competition. We have had limit instances in the past where teams have shipped items to the club which have ended up at the farm causing issues. If, for whatever reason, you need to either ship items to MRC or get in contact with the club, please contact [email protected] first so we can keep all competition communication going through one channel to avoid any confusion. Thank you!
Paddock: Registration is located here along with a workshop, exhibition and food court. There will also be a help desk, toilets and a rocket storage area.
Flight Registration and First Aid: All teams should report to the flight registration area no later than 30 minutes before their launch window. In the unlikely event of any injuries, first aid supplies will be located here.
Motor Prep Area: This is where motors will be stored throughout the day. Once teams have registered their flight they will be able to collect and prepare their motor here under the supervision of our experts.
Spectator Area: This is where all participants and spectators should stay within when watching launches. Do not leave this area unless directly instructed to do so by a UKSEDS volunteer or range safety officer.
Parking: Parking is available to all visitors. We can accommodate both cars and buses. Please remember to respect the 5mph limit on the farm.
This year’s competition day will be hosted at Midlands Rocketry Club. This is located on a farm near Norton-Juxta Twycross. – please note that there is an airstrip and a model helicopter club in the area.

A copy of their menu for the day can be found below. We would like to thank Full Flavour Behaviour for their support and for generously offering their food at a discount to their usual rate! UKSEDS will also be selling soft drinks at a discount rate at their stall.
