UKSEDS are today launching the third National Rocketry Championship. This is an exciting competition for student groups from around the UK to compete and show off their rocketry skills. This year, it is being supported by the Royal Aeronautical Society Centennial Fund.
This year teams are challenged with designing, building and launching a mid-power rocket with the primary goal of reaching the greatest apogee possible. Motor selection will be limited to ensure a fair competition between teams. Teams will also be required to submit a short technical report detailing their design and build.
We are now accepting teams into the competition. If you would like to take part, please fill in our registration form. No previous experience is necessary, as this year teams will be assigned a rocketry mentor to help you get the grips with rocketry. The sooner you register the sooner you can start getting help from your mentor. Funding for your competition entry is also available.
Full details about the competition can be found here on our website.
