We are pleased to announce a one day site tour of the European Centre for Space Applications and Telecommunications (ECSAT), ESA’s UK site, and the Rutherford Appleton Laboratories (RAL Space) located in Harwell, Oxfordshire. This opportunity allows you to tour this core centre for the UK space industry and gain an inside perspective of life working at one of these organisations.
The visit is on Monday 21st March 2016, and the day will begin at 10am, arrivals expected for 9:45am. This will be a talk from Alan Brunstrom of ECSAT with an open opportunity to ask questions. Lunch is not provided, though there will be opportunity to buy food on site. After this, we will spend the afternoon touring RAL Space and there will be further talks about your future in the space industry. The day should finish around 4pm.

Getting to Harwell
Didcot train station is 10 minutes drive from the Centre and has frequent connections to Oxford, London, Bristol and the South coast. A bus is available running from the station to the Campus every 15 minutes.
