The British Interplanetary Society are once again running the UK selection for the International Astronautical Congress Student Paper Competition. Two winners will each receive a £500 price, and be selected to represent the UK internationally at the IAC. This year, the IAC meeting will be held between 26-30 September in Guadalajara, Mexico.
There are two competitions, one for undergraduates and one for postgraduates, and competitors must be aged less than 28 on 1st January 2016. To enter, you’ll need to write a 1 page abstract, before the deadline of Monday 25th April.
Full competition details are available here, or email the BIS directly for advice at [email protected]. Our lovely treasurer, Ciara McGrath, won the UK competition in 2014 and is also happy to chat about any applications – send her an email at [email protected].
