University of Leicester AstRoSoc will be leading one of its largest space project this year, with 120 physics undergraduates and 5 engineering students.
The project called “ReMoTe” (Re-Construction and Modification of the Radio Telescope) aims to rebuild the radio telescope owned by the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Leicester.
The project will be led by the Head of Leicester AstRoSoc Angaraj Duara, Projects Officer Chris Moore and Chief Astronomer Luke Holmes. The project will begin on 3rd December 2014 and aims to be completed within 2 years.
