UKSEDS Workshop

UKSEDS are pleased to announce the return of our annual workshop – this year to be held on the 17th and 18th November and kindly hosted by Kingston University.

Now in its third year, the workshop offers UKSEDS members something different from from your regular conference, with the emphasis of the weekend being on hands on activities and discussion sessions to train you in new skills. In past years we’ve had electronics and coding sessions from Arduino and MBed, software demonstrations in satellite systems and operations, and practical introduction to new projects such as rocketry and high altitude ballooning.

The eagle eyed amongst you will spot an important difference – this year’s workshop is to be held over two days rather than the one (though if you can only make one day, then that’s no problem). We are hoping to include even more exciting sessions and hold the Branch summit – an afternoon of discussions, presentations and talks designed to get you working together with your fellow UKSEDS comrades.
