After a successful SGAC Asteroid Search Campaign, UKSEDS are delighted to announce our participation in the Pan-STARRS Asteroid Search Campaign from November 12th, the following lunar cycle. The campaign will continue until December 17th.
Even if you are unable to analyse some of the image sets, that is not a problem. Do not let missing some of the sets stop you from participating – even though it runs close to Christmas. We will be part of a team, so the sets can be covered through close coordination.
We look forward to members participating in the upcoming Pan-STARRS Asteroid Search Campaign. We should discover many, many asteroids. Typically in a campaign there will be >500 preliminary discoveries.
