Re-affiliation
Due to our changes in affiliation process it seems most of you weren’t affiliated for the 2017/18 academic year (you’re getting this e-mail because you were affiliated in the past 2 years and we hope you wish to remain so), but not to worry, the process is simple and only takes a few minutes and can be done here.
Also do let us know if you’re up to anything exciting (by e-mailing [email protected]) as we’d love to showcase more of the great work of our branches, and keep a lookout for opportunities for projects/funding that we may send to you.
National Student Space Conference 2019- WE NEED YOU!
After the great success of NSSC 2018 at the University of Surrey, we’re inviting applications to host next year’s conference. In terms of responsibility this would involve the branch organising the venue, associated security, catering and the Saturday night social, and UKSEDS Exec taking more responsibility for speakers, sponsorship and the programme. Some minimum requirements are having a lecture theatre that seats ~400, and being able to host on the first weekend of March. If your branch would like to submit a bid to host the conference, please let us know by e-mail to [email protected] of your intention to bid by 4th May 2018 (just a quick e-mail, this is just so we know who to expect) and then please download and fill in the application form and return it to [email protected] by 8th June 2018.
