COVID-19

Despite COVID-19 restrictions being lifted in England, we are still committed to ensuring maximum safety, comfort and confidence for all NSSC attendees.

Upon entry to the conference, attendees must meet ALL the following conditions:

  • Attendees must provide their NHS COVID pass, as proof of being double vaccinated* or proof of recovery(the NHS COVID pass will show evidence of recovery for 180 days following a positive NHS PCR test)
  • Attendees must provide a negative lateral flow test result, within 24 hours of the start of the conference
  • Attendees must not be presenting any COVID-19 symptoms

Free lateral flow tests are available at most Universities and pharmacies; please let us know if you are having any difficulties obtaining tests. As proof of a negative lateral flow test, please report your test result so that it is visible on your NHS COVID pass. If you are having difficulties reporting your result, you can also provide a photo of your negative test. We will use the photo metadata to confirm that the photo was taken within the past 24 hours. For international attendees, we will be accepting a CDC card (USA) or an EU Digital COVID certificate in lieu of an NHS COVID pass.

An NHS Test & Trace QR code will be available for attendees to scan upon arrival. Since it will not be possible to social distance within all the spaces of the conference, we will be requiring attendees to wear face masks throughout the event, unless presenting, drinking, eating, or exempt. Hand sanitiser will also be available in multiple locations at the venue.

We recognise that some attendees may still be conscious of large gatherings and close contact with others. With this in mind, we will be providing coloured wristbands which indicate your preference for social contact or distance.

*unless medically exempt. Please email [email protected] to make us aware of this or if you have any other concerns regarding the policy.
