The Executive Committee is elected by the membership of UKSEDS at our annual general meeting at the National Student Space Conference. The names of our Charitable Trustees are also available from the Charity Commission for England and Wales.
You
In this document ‘you’ refers to the individual buying the ticket or on whose behalf a ticket has been purchased.
Terms of Service
Amendments
We may amend this document at any time. You are bound by the terms published at the time of your purchase.
Provision of Contact Details
When purchasing a ticket from us, you agree to provide us with valid and up-to-date contact details for you. When purchasing a ticket for someone else you must provide us with their name and email address, or their ticket will not be valid.
Entry to an Event
We reserve the right to refuse entry to an event, or to request that you leave an event, if your actions or behaviour are disruptive, or threaten other attendees, engage in illegal activities, and for any other reasonable reason.
Ticket Refunds
We will refund tickets for any reason up to two weeks before an event starts. After this point the decision to refund a ticket is at the discretion of the Treasurer. This decision will be communicated to you via email.
Closing of Ticket Sales
If we decide to close ticket sales for an event, we will post a notice on the event webpage and on our social media channels. However, we will not always disable the purchasing mechanism.
Any ticket purchases made after sales have closed will not be considered valid unless approved by us, and will be refunded if not approved.
Event Cancellation
We advertise events in good faith on the belief that they will go ahead. If an event is going to be cancelled, we will notify you by email and on social media as soon as the decision is made.
In some situations, such as a speaker cancelling, we have to change the programme. We will not give refunds in these situations.
We will refund what you paid for your tickets, but we will not refund any travel or accommodation costs.
