The 2018 – 19 SSPI Satellite Design Competition challenges student teams to develop the design for a CubeSat or CubeSat constellation capable of fulfilling a science mission in the field of astronomy.
The submissions will be judged first on the quality, depth, and rigor of the work presented, and secondly on the breadth of the work in terms of topics covered. Each team will be assigned a mentor within the satellite industry to act as an advisor in this process.
Prizes will be awarded for 1st (£500), 2nd (£350), and 3rd (£200) places. SSPI will also conduct video interviews with the winning teams and promote them and their project to its global membership of 5,000 satellite professionals in more than 40 nations (looks great on your CV).
