UKSEDS Pandemic Resources

Due to the spread of Covid-19, and the social distancing measures put in place, UKSEDS will not be able to provide any community outreach for the forseeable future. We love the work we do with children up and down the country, so to make sure we can continue to bring our activities to you, we have made all our activities and resources available to the public.

All of these activities can be completed at home with basic materials, come with full instructions, and the background science (if you want to make them educational). The space sector needs people from all backgrounds and all skills, so we only make fun, creative activities. Each resource has a guide age, estimated timescale and printable certificate included. We have grouped them by school Key Stage to help you find the ones you want quickly.

We will miss seeing all the wonderful creations from you this summer, so please tweet your completed activities to @UKSEDS on twitter. Every Friday we will show a selection of your works from the week.

We are continuing to add our activities to this website as they are ready, so do keep checking back for more ideas. We also have a small team of volunteers who may be able to run skype sessions for schools through the pandemic, subject to availability.
