Social

It is traditional for us to hold a social event after the first day of the conference.

It's a chance for you to relax and have a good time. From 7:30pm on Saturday you’ll be able to enjoy a tasty meal and mingle with other delegates.

This year’s social will be held in the historic Teviot Row House, just across the road from the venue. Being in Scotland for the first time, we decided to do things a little differently and will be hosting a traditional cèilidh (‘kay-lee’) dance. Before the dancing starts there will be plenty of time to order food and drink at the bar. The full menu can be found on EUSA’s website.

Entry is free just turn up on the night and order whatever you like. Don’t worry if you’ve never cèilidh danced before, the Edinburgh University Folk Society band will be there to talk you through all the moves!
