Membership

Why become a member?

If you’re considering becoming a member you’re probably already a big fan of space. UKSEDS runs conferences, workshops and social events where you can meet fun, interesting people who also love space, and projects involving miniature satellite building, rockets launching, to name but a few.

If you’re considering a career in the space industry, then UKSEDS can help give you access to valuable contacts and opportunities through our excellent links with the UK Space Agency and industry leaders such as Astrium and Reaction Engines.

If you want to really make the most of membership, you can do outreach at schools and science festivals, attend international space conferences, and become a member of the UKSEDS organising committee.

In short, if you like space then UKSEDS is a great way to get have fun, build up a network of friends and contacts, and generally get more involved in the exciting world of space exploration and development (ok, that last bit was cheesy, but it’s still true).
