Workshop: Computer Aided Engineering for Space

Computer Aided Engineering, or CAE is an integral part of many product development processes today, especially for the space sector when prototype development and testing can be very expensive. Our partners, MSC Software, who produce a number of products in this field (MSC Nastran, Adams, MSC Apex) will be taking a group of students through the use of their new MSC Apex software package, especially when applied to space projects. Attendees will be taken through all the key capabilities of the software, and no prior experience is required.

Location: Sheffield Students’ Union

Date: 12pm – 5pm, Sunday 13th November
