Kiruna Summer Course

If you’re stuggling for something to do this summer, maybe you could spend 3 weeks in the arctic circle experiencing the midnight sun, while learning lots of interesting stuff about Human Spaceflight of course!

Applications for the 2010 Summer Course in Human Spaceflight and Exploration at the Kiruna campus of Umea University, Sweden are now open!

It runs from 2nd-20th August 2010 and there are no course fees thanks to the wonders of Sweden’s education system. You will however have to cover accommodation and living expenses yourself. The application deadline is the 15th March with supporting documentation needing to be received within 2 weeks after that so get a move on!

A general information page can be found here: http://www.irf.se/~carol/summer/

You apply through Swedish equivalent of UCAS here: https://www.studera.nu/studera/1498.html

And the university course page can be found here: http://www.umu.se/english/education/courses-and-programmes/course?code=5FY103

We hope to see lots of you there!
