We at UKSEDS try to be an open and approachable society and we’re always looking to get new people involved in the society. What better way to achieve this than with an evening get-together after the first conference day?

Each year we hold a UKSEDS social on the first evening of the conference, open to everyone attending the conference. Here you can meet the society committee, alumni and your fellow delegates and members.

Friday social

This is an informal gathering for anyone in the area ahead of the conference kick off on Saturday.

We will be meeting up outside the Manchester Conference Centre at 1930 and heading for the Curry Mile for some food and probably a drink or two.

If you want to come along it will be fairly obvious where the UKSEDS guys are waiting. We will select a restaurant nearer to the time and post it up on the Facebook group for any stragglers.
