As OU students are spread around the country we use online resources to communicate. So far we have a:
The branch has been set up by Nancy Hine and Alex Hocking. We are Open University students studying physics/astronomy/maths subjects. The intention is that membership will be informal, but we encourage all OU students with an interest in space to get involved on Twitter or Facebook and by emailing us at ouseds@nancyhine.co.uk. If you want to get more involved then there is the option of joining UKSEDS as a full member and volunteering to help us orgainise trips, get involved with UKSEDS projects etc. Please email us to find out more.
Earlier this year we organised a trip to Astrium and we hope to organise more as well as meeting up at other events such as Astrofest and the UKSEDS conference. We also encourage OUSEDS members to get involved with UKSEDS projects. Please let us know if you have any ideas for future activities.
