About KUSEDS…
Founded in 1988 by Dr Chris Welch, KUSEDS was an opportunity to help promote:
- Education- Exploration of space, and the research and development of space-related technologies.
- Involvement- A forum through which students could become involved in the space community.
- Achievement – The motivation required for students to shine in space-related fields.
- and most of all…Inspiration!
Events
- Film Nights: Are free! And will take place on Wednesdays- We provide the film, you bring the munchies (no alcohol allowed).
- Norwich Observatory: Ever wanted to sit stare at the stars on a warm night? Then, you could do that courtesy of KUSEDS.
Date TBC! - National Space Center: Do you have what it takes to be an astronaut? Test YOUR reaction times, stress levels and communication skills at the NSC and see if you have what it takes, to go into space! KUSEDS will be making a trip to the NSC very soon.
Keep watching this space for more information! - Lectures: Have you met anyone from ASTRIUM, ESA or NASA? Well, KUSEDS will be organizing lectures by people from these companies. These lectures will give YOU the chance meet those who have had hands on experience from within the space industry!
A list of speakers will be up shortly! - UKSEDS Conference: An annual conference that brings together society members as well as representatives from top employers within the space industry to share their passion of space technology and research. A great opportunity to speak directly to employers!
