Event: Student Propulsion Forum

This event has been postponed until 2017. Please watch social media and the Get Involved page for more info.

UKSEDS is happy to announce the Student Propulsion Forum. This event will be on 19th November at Kingston University and is a gathering of students interested in propulsion and rocketry from across the UK.

The content will revolve around two main themes:

  • Student rocketry projects – Have you ever wanted to start a student group project involved with rocketry, such as building a hybrid motor or a large rocket and needed some help getting started? There will be sessions on how to get started with these kinds of projects, including some details on self-made hybrid motors. We will also be joined by some of our partner European student groups, who will be presenting their projects and future goals.
  • The UK propulsion sector – The UK small launch & propulsion sector is currently expanding due to increased interest from commercial and government organisations. Some of these organisations will be presenting their vision for propulsion in the UK Space Sector.

Funded by a Royal Aeronautical Society Centennial Grant and organised in association with the Kingston University Rocket Lab.
