UKSEDS is looking for an Assistant Careers Officer to help source jobs and opportunities relevant to our membership to be advertised via LiftOff (Careers Newsletter) and our website. There could be the opportunity to liaise directly with relevant people in the space industry.
You will need to have some awareness about relevant companies and organisations in the space industry, with a particular focus to those looking to hire young people. This role would suit someone that is looking for internships or graduate positions or has recently been through the process, though it is not necessary.
You will need to be organized, have a professional manner and good communication skills. This role is flexible and can work around your schedule. You will report directly to the Careers Officer primarily via email and Skype.
Like all members of the UKSEDS team, you will, unfortunately, not be paid.
