UKSEDS is a firm supporter of space education as we are keen to encourage careers in the STEM industry and to motivate and stimulate self-belief in general.
The International Space School Educational Trust (ISSET) are currently running programmes with that very function; to utilise space to inspire and motivate individuals to achieve their goals. Some of these programmes may be of great interest to UKSEDS members.
In May, ISSET will be taking a group to the Lake District to undergo leadership and team-building training with famous astronaut Michael Foale. The course takes inspiration from real NASA leadership training and will be a weekend long. Usually the price for such an event is £450 a head, but for UKSEDS members ISSET are kindly offering a discounted price of £350 a head.
